Actually the short stack swings this to a call.

In true micro LHE forum tradition here's a grunch from a relative TD noob:

Pre-flop: A draw to 237 is an obvious raise, thus your pre-flop play is correct.

First draw: Your draw is correct. Your choice to throw the deuce of clubs instead of the deuce of hearts to break up any possible flush is the right thing to do.
Betting round: This is the decision that may cause some controversy. However, there are three factors which make me think it's an okay call. First, you're drawing smooth - no chance of a straight and you have three cards to make #1. Second, you have already discarded a two and you're about to discard a three, both of which are valuable cards to your opponents. Third, you're getting immediate 7:1 odds on your money and it's not all that likely the last person to act will raise after having drawn two. So while it wasn't a no-brainer call for me I think it was an okay decision.

Second draw: No need for comment, it's obvious.
Betting round: #3 is a great hand here. The 3-bet is a little worrisome but I'd say villain could easily be making that play with a decent 8. I think the cap is ok.

Third draw: You're pat, no comment.
Betting round: You didn't reveal the rest of the hand. If he checks then you simply must bet and if check-raised I'd simply call. If he bets I raise once and call a 3-bet but I don't cap.

EDIT: Ooops, I missed the all-in part but I wouldn't mind some discussion of how the third round should have played if villain wasn't all-in. The all-in aspect also makes the cap pretty obvious.

Assuming I'm not just being third-levelled here, can I ask why?

If stack size isn't relevant, would a number 3 always be an auto-cap against a 3-bet from an unknown in this spot? The one thing that's hard to understand without experience is the relative frequency of the top hands.

Or is this like a "did I get maximum value from my quads" type novice question?

You're going to get his last 50c on the end anyway, so calling doesn't cost you anything. There may only be a miniscule chance that he breaks if you cap when he wouldn't have otherwise, but you really hate it if he does.
