Limit is fun cause you can fire bets at people w/o worring about getting into trouble. It stops being fun when you get your first nasty taste of varience.

I have made the move from limit to NL recently too. 150k hands of $1/$2, $2/$4, and $3/$6 before getting sick of 15K hands of nothing but beats and realising that I was having no fun whatsoever.

Still not started back on the NL trail yet but will do fairly soon. The interesting thing though is that I think all that limit play, mainly at 6 Max, has helped my overall game a lot and I expect to be a better NL player as a result.

about 250K of limit ranging from .50/1 to 30/60. I have
been getting pretty tired of the variance that is limit
and since all the cool kids are playing NL these days

i used to play limit then did NL. I do NL25, take a few shots at NL50 but always get railed at that. i tried limit again today and i can't stand the variance, i dropped about 70 at 1/2 in not much time mainly from suckouts.

NL online cause variance sucks in limit. If you want to make money at low limits you must play many tables, swings will put you in a nut house.

Limit in a casino cause NL is soooo boring only playing one table, waiting for that one hand to trap someone with. Also, cause I think that $6-12LHE to $10-20LHE in a cardroom is easier than $2/4 and $3/6 online.
