bet more on flop. when we have a very strong semibluffing hand we tend not to care a ton whether we win the pot or continue, but

1) the hand plays a bit easier if the pot is bigger on the turn (unless we plan to check/raise, which is a fine alternate line)

2) we like to have a big pot when we get there, which happens a lot with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K here

w/o reads or stats, I would bet the river. I think ppl are way more likely to call bets with med-high spades than they are to bet with them. I can't see why he would bluff here either

Hero's line obv looks very strong, but I think villain's calling range &gt; betting range in this spot

I really think that it's a close decision. I don't mind checking because it induces bluff/lets villian value bet worse hands that might call cr/he checks behind a whole bunch of hands he cannot call with anyways.

Bet because 1-card flushes will often check behind, and they won't believe you have the Ace since they finally got what they have been looking for.
