Weather actually has been warmer than the usual up until the last few days. Weekend tournaments will have up to 200 entries maybe a little more, not sure with the higher buyins for the night tourneys. And weekday tournaments will have less than 200 but more than 100. Basically the usual. Now all no limits except one Omaha8 tourney thrown in. The 11am start is the worst, to early. I'd do better with a noon start so would many others especially for the typical football fan and late night poker players. I don't know if they have there best overall player going this tournament, can't find it anywhere on there website.

Are the 11am tournys one day events or do they have the final table come back the next day?

They did a best overall last time. Don't know about this one coming up.
Usually the tourneys wrap up in one day.
I think the main event will probably play a final table on day two.

this looks correct. be aware that previous pot o' golds have listed the main event as a one day event and have played the FT the next day. Since there isn't a $1K or $2.5K event, this is unlikely to happen. Certainly could be frustrating for those making travel plans...

PS, there is no snow here.

I hope it doesn't snow and the turn out is awesome.
I know that some of the people from cali won't make it if the weather is bad.

I might come up from the Bay area and play a few of these. It'd be nice if I could get some skiing in as well, but we gonna need some snow for that to happen.

Heresy! But you're probably right about it affecting the turnout, though the weather has to be pretty bad for 80 to close down.

So do you register for these in advance or just show up? Do they fill (I'm looking at the weeknight 7pm $100 + $20 if it make any difference)? It would be bad to make the drive and then find out I can't enter. Thanks for answer my noob questions.
