i don't think betting the turn is a bad play. If you checked and he bet you would probably call and then what do u do on a blank river? At least with your bet on the turn you have allowed yourself to get away cheaply, fairly confident that you made a good fold.

you bet fine. Not sure I'd have folded (I mean, he's gotta have AQ or AK or a bare 6 to beat you, and it doesn't look like AQ/AK from the preflop betting), but it's not that bad.

The preflop could have been a little higher, maybe a dollar, but that's splitting hairs.

Given your read on villain I probably give him credit here. Although if he's doing this with 6 he's losing value from someone who holds an ace. Then again so many people will call with just an Ace here that I sometimes do this with a good hand too.

I think you can check this turn. Not much that you beat is going to call the bet anyway. Plus, with AJ you put yourself in a tough spot when villain does what he does.

I would check behind to get more value from small PP, bluffs, weaker aces.

Is that the one that says the sturdy turn bets means business?

Kinda what I thought here...I didnt think he could c/r AI on the turn without a hand that means business. I only really beat a bluff in that spot I feel like.

Baluga applies to a TPTK type hand or an overpair.

We has 2 pair here. I think it's a fold anyway. Really feels like an AK float to me.
