And also, you basically beat a bluff on the flop, cause people don't overplay Ax as often as they used to.

Either you're beat here or Villain is absolutely terrible. I'd lean toward the former in the absence of evidence to the contrary since it's a $1K event, and fold. I would never fold on the flop, I would expect Ax to slow down after I called the C/R, and I think we're ahead of Villain's range on the flop. Normally I expect a turn bet to follow a flop C/R, but the board's too dangerous, and the money too shallow, for Villain to do that here without a huge hand. I think you're looking at A9, A2 or 22.

IMO, if this is tilt 1k it's a lot tougher, but in a satellite with guys trying to win a package i think there are more guys who think AT/AJ is the nuts here.

wow...really? wow...I play stars pretty successfuly at lower stakes and I agree with that many will go to the mat with any decent ace but at these stakes?
