check shove the river, he can't call

What can't he call with? shouldnt he be taking the showdown w/ 88-TT? so his betting range on river should be hands that are a pair of queens or better, or air... i doubt we can fold out many/any Q's.. so why shove?

Bear in mind I don't think it's the best line, just the one that has the best chance of winning the pot. I should be more clear when I post wacky plays like that.

Oh and it works because in villain's mind you can't be bluffing here and there's a 4 straight on board

I'm still missing the part where a random folds his AA.

Funki,
WTF? No. We're fine to play for just set value here, and we've got more than just set value.

I just fold turn. I don't expect randoms to two barrel that much, and being OOP is just so [censored] here.

i agree w/ fold turn in 77 hand and call turn in tt hand. the bet sizing is really different, not to mention if the guy is betting pairs inbetween the middle card and top card we beat more of his range w/ tt than 77. river is definitely a fold in 77 hand imo but sometimes u just get that vibe that you're good and calldown and win, but that's hard to comment on.

Tough hand, I think I'd just fold the turn.

Yeah. I didn't see the first one before, but I fold turn in both.

I don't understand how you can possibly think calling's better in the TT hand than in the 77 hand. In the TT hand his bet sizing is stronger, we're getting worse odds, and there isn't an obvious draw for him to be semibluffing. The only really really small advantage that we have is that occasionally he has 99 or something like 89, so we have better equity with TT against those hands. That's really rare, though, and much less important than the other stuff I mentioned.
