I just think that flop hits a good range of calling a re raise 6 handed in position i.e. 87s-KQs 99/TT/JJ etc... [/ QUOTE ] agreed |

Re: FT $300 vs Colson 6max
can't win every hand. This flop probably falls in the worst 5% of flops possible for your hand. I see no reason to go crazy here.

Re: FT $300 vs Colson 6max
i can definitely see check-shoving AA here, but the main reason is it looks suspicious and since you have to stack off anyway in a situation where his range hammered the board, you might as well sometimes make your stronger hands look weird plus snap off the occasional bet/fold from hands that wouldn't put any money in if you bet.
For the same reasons I don't like this very much with AK. AQ maybe, your equity is significantly better. But I think you get looked up too much, and your outs often aren't clean. c/f or b/f. |

Re: FT $300 vs Colson 6max
This is very bad. Bet 1/2-2/3 pot sometimes, but usually check/fold. I think check-raising in this type of spot can be a good play, but on this board, in this situation, with AK- it is a huge spew.
I thinkl tournament regulars make this type of play too often, and push much to hard to win pots. -Jeff |
