Default FTP scammer alert, luckboxfromheli on FTP

In chat recently someone with the name luckboxfromhelI on FTP is acting like he's luckboxfromhell, and trying to get people to transfer him on Stars. He's IM'd a couple people trying to get it to work as well, and his AIM name is armopimp124. The difference between this guy and the real thing is the last letter is a capital I, instead of an L, which looks the exact same in the FTP chat box unfortunately.

Also, you'll know it's not really this 2+2 poster because he is really good and would never need a transfer because he wins so much.

Just a little PSA for everyone out there.

Full Tilt Support and FTPDoug have been contacted. If anyone has HH#s with chat, I'd love to have them.

I might have some HH's. I was approached but instead of chatting at the table I was playing, I opened one of his (the real LuckBoxFromHell) and said hi. No response. Must have been the scammer.

Here's the excerpt. The capital eye looks exactly like the lower case el.

"LuckboxFromHelI" is pretending to be higher-limit SNG player "LuckboxFromHell" and attempting to scam other higher-limit SNG players. You should be able to see the difference if you display those two quoted names into a font like Times New Roman. This is the kind of chat abuse that I think needs to be stopped. I don't know of anyone who has actually fallen for it, but it's annoying at the least. Basically, he approaches unsuspecting rubes, pretends to be a good (leaderboard) player "down on his luck," and asks for a transfer on Stars for a transfer on Full Tilt. Obviously, once the rube transfers money on Stars, the Full Tilt transfer is never made.

Cliff's Notes: Ban this jerk's chat before his scam actually works.

We appreciate your support as quite often it is our regular players,

I wonder how they associated others in on the scam?

Nice work Charles. You don't seem like a "Charles" to me. More like a Josey, Duke, or Buck.

Yeah, I notified FT and Stars both on this. Stars said they froze that account as well. Those who purport to be the Luckbox will not be tolerated...
