[ QUOTE ]
Said it in the other post, but this tournament has a lot more content than the $16 so thanks a ton for posting this.

Manchild and Marwan mentioned it, but is that early JJ coin-flip a regular thing for you even with a read? I was also wondering about the 44 min-raise, were you trying to take down the blinds and would you have called a re-raise all-in from Motta?

Also this hand:
PokerStars Game #7639660186: Tournament #39079278, $25+$2 Hold'em No Limit - Level VI (100/200) - 2006/12/27 - 23:55:47 (ET)
Table '39079278 1' 9-max Seat #3 is the button
Seat 1: Motta (4390 in chips)
Seat 3: arnair (1460 in chips)
Seat 5: rainman6060 (1840 in chips)
Seat 6: z32fanatic (3815 in chips)
Seat 7: nml agent (1995 in chips)
rainman6060: posts small blind 100
z32fanatic: posts big blind 200
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to z32fanatic [8d 8h]
nml agent: calls 200
Motta: folds
arnair: folds
rainman6060: folds
z32fanatic: raises 3615 to 3815 and is all-in
nml agent: folds
z32fanatic collected 500 from pot

Would you re-raise all-in regardless of the # of limpers in front? Sorry for asking so much, just curious

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm checking if Motta (big stack) limps, but I'm shoving if anyone else limps. When people limp I'm very very confident I'm ahead with 88 here, but I'm not willing to risk going broke against Motta if he calls. Because I don't have to risk going broke if I have the limper(s) covered, I would confidently shove.

- I'd prolly open fold that 77 hand there with 5 left to act, but it's in that inbetween spot for me (But I suck post flop so )

- I'd probably fold the 9d4d hand where you pushed in the SB.. only because BB has like 6-7 BB's after posting and should be on a wide calling range with antes.. I hate pushing crap into short stacks.. What % do you usually push there, any 2?

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't see the 77 hand you're talking about.

In terms of the 94s hand, with antes I'm gonna shove almost any 2, just because nobody at these levels can call enough to make it -EV, even though they should obviously. Against a regular I'd shove less obviously. Against unknowns I'm shoving a ton.

So I would have played every single hand the exact same way. What do I get?

Definitely a standard complete with decent connected cards here and 15BB. I'm in position against a weaker opponent, so completing here with almost anything is ok I think.

im curios about this hand, why you opened to 600 instead of 500. anything to do with 44 being very vulnerable?

I'm curious about why 500 is better than 600. I'm not disagreeing with it I just don't know why. I've seen it recommended to only raise 2.5XBB instead of 3X and I've never seen an explanation on why.
