Default OT: Clash of the Titans misclick gone horribly wrong

This is the first hand of the Clash of the Titans to the weekly leaderboard winner. At first I tried to just take it down like usual HU against a solid player. When the turn brought 4 spades I really thought he'd fold any spade lower than 7, so I pot it again. I don't think he will want to get it all in the 1st hand without a high spade. On the river, I meant to type an "8" in front of the 40 in the bet space to bet 840, but accidentally put 88 in front and ended up pushing. I was, well, dumbfounded by his call. This was probably the worst misclick of my career, thought I'd share it with you all.

Congrats to Newt_buggins on making this call, in hindsight I guess my misclick looked more like a bluff than a normal pot sized bet. Any thoughts?

Sucks. I hate the call though. Even with "reads".

My thought is that he looked over your shoulder at your computer screen and saw that you didn't have it.

The winner moves on to the next week for a shot at another $1000, so just chopping and getting it all in would be pretty retarded unless you like gambling.

Meh, maybe newtbuggins isn't who I think it is. Weird hand so I assumed there was a chance it was "staged" and the weekly advancement was simply figured out by other means.

Having lived with them for a month, I can assure you that this wasn't staged. Everytime we'd go out to a restaurant, Joey would glance around the place, give the kitchen and waiters a once over, and order food for all of us. His choices were always spot on and delicious. When asked about his ordering prowess, he gave me a serious, thoughtful look and said "Bones, if there's one thing I've learned, it's that without my reads, I'm nothing."

That man can [censored] read.
