Re: monte carlo - set oop monotone flop
exit, in my experience when people are repping a super tight range and u think to urself, 'jeez he can only have this, but what else will he ever have?'...he usually has exactly that range. in a live event especially where it's much easier to pick up a 'tell' i think if ur gut is telling u to fold i would follow ur gut. of course this is all just a general guideline and i see absolutely no problem stacking off here under most any circumstances(ie: guy has not been a total nit). i also think flop is a decent place to lead but i see no problem with c/r if u don't lead very often or ever.

[ QUOTE ]
--- Now, 200/400/50 stacks ~15k he opens in the hijack for 1050, sb calls, i call w/ 66. flop($3500)2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] it checks around. turn($3500) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] sb checks, i bet 2k, he makes it 5500, sb folds. Action? I have ~12k left Also, who leads into him on the flop? I generally dont do this, but i probably should start using that line some. Thoughts? [/ QUOTE ] Depends on your read of him (besides the KK vs AA hand), what were the showdowns (if any) when he raised from that position, also did he continue bet on the flop or not, etc... I either move-in or fold here. It really depends on your read of him and you have to trust your read. (If you post more hands that you've seen from this guy, we may have easier decision.) |
