I'm having trouble beating all those 1-handed games.

EDIT: But the rakeback is good.

Major companies/sites that make fractions of he money these poker sites do would never allow their site to be down for this long.

[/ QUOTE ]

I mean, I'm sure that sounds good to you and makes sense, but it's not true.

[/ QUOTE ]

Really? So you've seen Ebay, Amazon, NewEgg or other major sites go down at peak business times for hours on end with no public/media release or statement of any kind? Heck, in the last 5 years my personal website has never been completely down for more than 20 minutes at one time and I don't make but a few bucks a month off my site.

I work for a company that has annual revenues in the billions and does not have a back-up for when the network/database access goes down, even though it happens multiple times per year and costs them and the clients millions.

So, I guess the answer is yes. It's cute that you have a personal website to compare though.

I think it's cute that the company you work for is so far behind in the tech world that they don't have network backups, even though it costs them and their customers millions. Not only do I think it's something I wouldn't brag about, I don't think I'd ever mention it. Pretty embarrassing.
