Default 400NL Commerce 5/10 - line question

My image all night has been laggy, sucked out one time with a 4 outter two pair vs. set.

Topic discussed in the past 30 mins are revolved around cbeting flush draws if you raiser preflop.

bb 1k behind
me 3k behind
utg 400 behind

Hand comes up in the bb i pick up 88, utg limps, cutoff raisers to 55. sb folds, i call, utg calls.

pot 170

flop Ac 8d 2c, i decided that ace had to of hit either the utg caller or co raiser, so i opted to slow play my set with a two-tone board by checking.

utg checks, co cbets for 110. Instead of calling or check raising for a normal amount, i decide recheck my cards as if i was looking down at two clubs and then push for ~3k having a very good read 90% that he has ak/aq/aj/ax and that co doesn't have AA due to some hand history/show downs where he raises with usually Ax.

utg folds.

I had a few questions about this hand and would like everyone's input.

Am I getting call with only AA? Standard line would to vbet all the way down, but do abnormal plays like this to risky?

Would this play be more appropiate on the turn if a non-club came?

What I notice is that players live call down thin and that online players would usually muck any Ax.

Results:

co calls with AJ, turn blank, river blank.

It certainly seems that way lately.

After the "Bellagio 10-20: Overpair on Monotone Flop" thread was locked yesterday...it seems like alot of HSNL posts/replies cant be taken seriously ...unless you have that secret decoder ring

This is my standard play for 100 BB. I've been called with middle and bottom pair, because they're sure I have a club draw and live donks don't fold.

the line you take is very situation dependent. against stronger players, i may also lead into the preflop raiser so that any reasonable raise commits him. your line is also reasonable against many players.

its the commerce 400 game, if he has an Ace it doesn't matter whether you bet/3 bet, c/r little, or c/r big, the money is getting all in

This is correct, even if the villain doesn't have an ace.
