Default Do pot odds always dictate what should be done? ($370 WSOP sat)

Table is playing standard fairly tight. Most raises are uncontested. Resteals are not normal on this table. I REALLY doubt either guy is making a move.

Is this a call?

Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Tournament
Blinds: t600/t1200
(Ante: t75)
9 players

Stack sizes:
UTG: t69225
Hero: t31328
MP1: t23184
MP2: t32078
MP3: t9223
CO: t67051
Button: t24378
SB: t9069
BB: t43259

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG folds, Hero raises to t3600, 2 folds, MP3 raises all-in t9148, 2 folds, SB calls all-in t8394, BB folds, Hero ??

its like 5k more to win about 25k pot, but surely I am crushed here.

its close probably you should call from a mathematical standpoint, but in a satellite structure like this, there are other things to think about. In regular cash tourney I'd unhappily call though.

first off, this is a fold pre - chips are worth their weight in gold in a satellite and by the blinds you got to be within a couple hundred of the seat - why risk 10% when you have to get through 7 other players

as played tho think you have to call - your risking 5k to win 25k - your probably no better then 30% chance to win, but if you do win with a stack size of 50ish your chances of winning a seat go up dramaitcally where as by losing your chances dont go down near as much

i call

Call. MP3 is pushing at least 99+, AQ+ and probably wider and SB isn't folding JJ and probably not TT. Stove that and I assume that you're in profit.

If I was in any doubt about calling either or both, I wouldn't raise KQo from ep. If no one's calling raises or reraises, raise a wider range and raise 2.5x.
