Default Opinions on PKR

I wanted to try out the 3D poker room PKR. Wondering if anyone has opinions on that site. Would love to hear.

try the playmoney and see how you like it.

When I played you could only see one table at a time and the rest would fold bodog-style. I only played play money for one evening because I'm an American.

It was kinda fun, a bit better than Second Life poker.

Thought it was an interesting concept and pretty fun. I just tried the play money also. Much different feel to playing poker online, with lobby music, and all the things u can get your character to say at the tables, and do.

Cautionary: Several tracking cookies or something of the sort came up for me in Adaware, which were linked to PKR. I got rid of it pretty quickly after that.

I've been playing at PKR for a couple of weeks, just for a change. (non-US friendly 3D site)

Its the place to go if your aim is to have fun and play at the same time, & as a consequence of that the competition is very soft.

It's basically like playing the Sims at poker.

Pro's will probably hate it though, the 3D stuff and sound effects will just be an irritation to them I'm sure. You can multi-table but that is kind of awkard. And you can't use Pokertracker. The only games with any action at all are NL Holdem and PL Omaha Hi.

Still, the games that are there, are good, and what an impressive bit of software.

When I tried it out they definitely had the softest NL400 (post frist) tables on the internet. It was like a playmoney table.

If youre drunk and you dont want to multitable and/or have a friend over to discuss some plays its definitely a good choice.

Not enough traffic. Nice software but it's slow and the voices get annoying. Multi-tabling is a nightmare. I agree that if you just want to have fun it's a great place to play but if you're serious, forget about it.
