WCOOP: QQ, river decision
Early in the WCOOP
First couple of hands, blinds are 25/50 stacks range between 14,000 and 16,000 Hero has 15,000 exactly Preflop: Hero has Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the sb 3 limpers (one EP, one MP, one in the CO) Hero raises to 450, EP calls, MP folds, and CO calls Flop: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets 750, EP calls, CO folds Turn: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero checks, EP bets 1775, Hero calls River: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero checks, Villain bets 5,700, Hero? I dunno what to do here. I am lost. I am thinking maybe I should have fired on the turn to better define my hand. |

Re: WCOOP: QQ, river decision
with no history / reads, he could put you on a badly played AK here (and not have you beat) but then again there aren't that many hands he could have here that don't beat AK... maybe some suited connector garbage.
It doesn't look like you have an overpair too much based on your passive turn play, so maybe he thinks he's vbetting AT vs. your 88 or something. Meh, too many maybes I'd just call I guess, could be bad tho. |

Re: WCOOP: QQ, river decision
I'd bet turn. As played - call. Can't put him on a 2 after your pre-flop raise. Likely KT or AT.

Re: WCOOP: QQ, river decision
I bet turn, and call river.
JMSlick - A 2 makes no difference. |

Re: WCOOP: QQ, river decision
I'd bet the turn and call the river.
Villain probably has you on AK or so here, flop looks like a standard C-bet and you gave up on the turn and he thinks he can take it down by firing out. |

Re: WCOOP: QQ, river decision
so villain plays pre weak, by limping/calling, you make a standard cbet and he flats on a dry board.
you show more weakness on the turn by checking and he bets and you flat - so he's got to be thinking this guy is either really strong (trips, str8, etc) or is weak. you check the river which almost no one does with a really strong hand, and villain bets pot? thats either a bet that doesnt want to be called or a value bet meant to look like an overbet - i'd call this river bet as villains line doesnt add up to me, but i'd be real tempted to shove em in |

Re: WCOOP: QQ, river decision
I bet the turn and call the river pretty easily. Looks like AT to me.
