Default River action? NLTRN

K, so he has been kind of stupid and tight so far, making his one showing of aggression just retarded, so doesn't seem like a great player by any means, and I have a semi-aggro image here... what your river decision?

Full Tilt Poker, $110 + $5 NL Hold'em Sit n' Go, 25/50 Blinds, 2 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

Hero (SB): 1,977
BB: 1,023

Pre-Flop: (75) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
Hero calls 25, BB checks

Flop: (100) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets 75, BB calls 75

Turn: (250) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB bets 100, Hero calls 100

River: (450) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB bets 100, Hero ???

edit: p.s. feel free to comment on turn decision as well

Calling the turn is fine because you're either way ahead or way behind ; aside from a possible flush draw .

Call the river for sure .

Would this river still be a call if the BB's bet was bigger, like 2/3 pot or so?

I prolly raise river to 300. I like turn. It looks like he has a 6 or a 4 to be honest. I wouldnt think he has a 2 because of the size of his river bet. The flush isnt a concern because its a backdoor and he wasn't really calling the flop on a frush draw.

(occasionaly 57o will show up here, but i think you still have to value raise river.)

if he shoves you are never ahead, but he wont have much left will he? I guess I'd fold it, but I won't be happy about the hand.

k, I just called... he flipped 78 and I regretted not raising, but with paired board, flush hitting, and straight all completing on the river I couldnt make the raise at the time, but I thought about it for a while

your statements tell me that you are not handreading. given how he has played this hand and the size of his bets he does not have the hands u mention most of the time.
