Default overpair on scary board

10/20 NL
Villain is more on the passive side. decent at best.
Hero has been playing LAG
BB has 3.5K, Hero covers

villain in MP limps, Hero makes it 80 in CO+1 with 99, BB calls, villain calls

Flop:
8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

villain checks, hero bets 140, bb folds, villain calls

Turn:
7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
villain checks, hero bets 250, villain calls

River:
3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

villain bets 600

thoughts on all streets appreciated

You seem to be in two minds through the streets whether to value-bet or excercise pot control.

I think you've played it fine and cannot think of any reason to do anything other than call.

It is very possible though, that he is owning you with 1010 JJ.

thats exactly how i felt, i wanted to v bet what i believed was the best hand but i didnt want to bloat the pot or have him c/r a bigger amount
