Default Money transfers need to be banned from 2p2

I know 2p2 doesn't take responsibility for the p2p transfers but they need to stop allowing threads and request. Too much scamming is going on and it's given twoplustwo a bad image on other poker forums. 2p2 should ban the post of transfers and keep it strictly to PMs

Or they could just require people to take a simple test before being allowed to register.

Something like "is the color red a color?" should probably suffice.

what's so bad about it?? i'm sure most of the scamming has been because of mistakes made by the person who got scammed...

also, i know that thread allows for users to share experiences of transfers with other users, so a kind of rating sytem is in place too...

Your case is, unfortunately, an example to others of how not to do it.

If you had read the OP, you would have seen that the poster is on the "watch" list, and his playing-name is on the alleged scammers list.

I don't know how better to protect the noob's other than really hitting them over the head with, "you HAVE to read the OP so that you know what to look for" but shouldn't banning/suspending the accounts of some of these suspected scammers be considered?

I admit that I haven't followed the scammer thread (also known as the player-transfer thread) very closely.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm bitter about it so the MODs can feel free to delete this thread...I just didn't realize how much it really goes on here.

Bob, if a mod is convinced that someone is scaming, we can ban them. It's just hard for us (Mike) to weed them out.

Exactly why we should consider not allowing the practice on 2+2 at all imo.
I think it's too much work to be monitored properly.

It strikes me as being unbelieveably and insanely easy for a banned scammer to go back and make a new account and take advantage of someone else.
