Villain is winning according to pokerdb to the amount of like 50k or something???!

History: he did this once before i called, c/f flop.

Funny raise. There was a post in the HSMTT forum last week about Pearljammer, and how he raises like 2.25x and such. Anyway, i digress.

I fight with my roommate about this spot all the time. My default is to not call raises OOP. I mean, your hand sucks, and I don't think you're going to feel alright proceeding post-flop unless you hit 2 pair or better, or you're some ninja who's gonna outplay this guy in a raised pot OOP.

On the other hand, you're pretty deep, are getting great odds, and have a pretty well concealed hand.

I guess I'm not answering your question. I just hate calling raises OOP and then c/fing the flop. It makes me feel like a bitch.
