Default Where to play poker in France ?

A little guide for those who are going to France sooner or later and want to play some cards.

Basically there are poker rooms only in Paris, Toulouse and Reims.

For the moment, i only have info about Paris & Toulouse.

/* PARIS
************************************************** **********/

Here is a wide map for you to figure out where to go when you are in Paris :

With the names :

One by one :

The Aviation Club de France :
-most famous, and the one you should stick to if its your first time in Paris
-dress code is strict
-smoky

His little brother, the Gaillon, which is also recommended :
-dress code

Another one said to be the most beautiful card room, the Cercle Haussamnn :
-dress code

The recently opened Cercle Concorde :
-no dress code
-very smoky
-unprofessionals dealers can be encountered there

The Cercle Wagram :

I will add more details about those card rooms and the games played in the second post later.

/* TOULOUSE
************************************************** ***********/

Le Cercle des pyrénnées :
on the boulevard Strasbourg, 50 meters from the Place Wilson

If you go in France for a long time but not in Paris and you want to play with humans, you might have a look at the thread i made about the poker forums in the different regions to meet and play with locals there.

This thread is open for any of your questions regarding poker in France
