Default # WSOP Entrants

I don't know if this counts as sports betting or not - it's under Sports on Betfair though!

Does anyone have any thoughts of the number of entrants for the WSOP market on Betfair? I have laid a decent amount at > 9,000 entrants (at 2.98 to 3.1), and also backed a little on 7-8000 and 8-9000 to take advantage of the odds moving in the market. I have no sports betting bankroll, as I have no edge at regular sports bets, should I start getting worried about this bet as a one-off?

My reasoning:

1. Poker has probably peaked in the US
2. Europeans don't view the WSOP as such a big thing as Americans
3. PS & FT offering cash instead of the seat
4. Party not pushing WSOP so heavily
5. Most people will be betting the trend of increased fields every year, so my odds will be better than they should

My problem with the bet is that the fields are still large, a couple of them larger than last year.
