Default Beat: Could\'ve folded into the money but...

$109, 9 person SnG. Small stack has been sitting out for at least 10 minutes. I'm in third. Big stack is a fool.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (4 handed)

Hero (t2620)
SB (t2965)
BB (t995)
UTG (t6920)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG raises to t375, Hero raises to t2620, 2 folds, UTG calls t2245.

Flop: (t5390) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Turn: (t5390) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: (t5390) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: t5390

Results:
UTG has 7h 7d (three of a kind, sevens).
Hero has Kd Kc (one pair, kings).
Outcome: UTG wins t5390.

Really! Did he think I'd push with anything that 77 is ahead of?
I actually asked him after and he said I may have had AK or AQ. Oh really...
(btw, small stack did not return before getting blinded out and making $180.)

this is why i announce my holdings when i go all with premium hands at the bubble, but they still call and i still lose a good portion of the time.

That's actually not a bad idea. Normally, I wouldn't care but since the other guy was sitting out...
