Default 99 - What line should I take against this opponent?

Villain is 42/30/5 over 50ish hands. Also has 50% attempt to steal blind.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Button ($44.55)
Hero ($25.15)
BB ($38.55)
UTG ($47.75)
MP ($9.65)
CO ($25)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $0.85</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2.7</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Button calls $1.75.

Flop: ($5.55) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $4</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $8</font>, Hero?

My 3betting was for his big attempt to steal range, so I don't doubt that it was a bad play.

However, I really don't know what to think of villains min-raise here. Fold or call? And if I call how do I plan to play it the rest of the way down?

3bet - I doubt it was a bad play*

Anyways, anyone have any ideas on this? How would you play it? Should this be a fold since I'm going to be playing this hand OOP for the next two streets (if it even gets that far)? I don't know how much pressure I can take if he puts in another big bet on the turn.

I think this is a fold. We don't really beat anything he called your raise preflop with. Very doubtful he has a 10, as A 10 and K10 prolly fold preflop and 10 10 slowplays this flop. My guess is he has an overpair (JJ or QQ). I suppose he could have something like 77, but overpairs to me are much more likely.

I think this is a fold too. No question he may be trying to push you around AND it is a good flop for 99, but i'd lean him holding an overpair or trips.
