Do you own a television?

prompted by someone elses thread, it got me thinking - I dont own a TV, computer monitor is fine for 99.99% of stuff.

I dont own, nor can be bothered to get a TV, as then I'd have to pay the $250-300 TV license fee that we have here in the UK.

I have a slingbox and TV tuner but no actual TV

as already said in the other thread, i dont own a tv at the moment

there is actually one standing in my room, but its so old (no remote) and the image is so messed up i dont put it on. Its not even mine btw.

also, i watch most movies/series on my desktop or laptop
2nd, i work at television... i work quite alot and have to about 14 TV screens to look at all the time there.
3rd, most of the stuff on TV is crap here

I'd watch like 1 hour of TV a year on an actual TV, thats a pretty expensive 1 hour.

I basically torrent every tv series I watch and if I wanted to watch a big sporting event of relevance I'd

A) Go to the pub with friends
B) Watch it at a friends
C) Find a livesteam online.

I watch Dexter, HSP, some anime, yada thats about it. What do I need a TV for?

PS: Computer setup is 2x24" widescreen at the mo, might get some 30"'s soon. so its not like I dont have a decent viewing option [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

And no, I dont have a TV tuner.
