NL 100 - OOP nut flush draw on the flop
Do I have at least a call on the flop? Villain is 17/11/3 in large sample and is likely to pound any blank turn.

Re: NL 100 - OOP nut flush draw on the flop
Well, you said it with "[Villain] likely to pound any blank turn."
This rules out a call for me - a club, A or K will likely slow him down killing the implied odds, and a blank will let him take it. His stats seem pretty TAG so his cold calling range here is AQ/AK, 99+ ? All of which you've got a decent draw against. What do you look like to him? If you've got a high AF/cbet %age, he may well be trying to use position to move you off AK/AQ (good read by him). In this case I think a rr AI is a good option - it looks alot like a premium pair protecting against a FD. OTOH, a fold isn't wrong in this spot - if he's good, tangle with worse players for your stack. But hey, I'm a NL25 player so this might be waaaay wrong! Cheers, pingu |
