Hand from 40k GTD
This was the 4th or 5th hand of the tournament. Please critique my play on each street.
Hero is in the BB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 5 people limp behind and SB completes. The flop comes Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB Checks, Hero bets t250 (Pot). 5 callers and SB folds. The turn comes K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero bets t1000. There is one caller. The river comes A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero bets t1500 (all-in) and is called by AK. |

Re: Hand from 40k GTD
I check-call the river, I think. Not too many hands I'm ahead that got there. QT and QJ maybe. I'm behind pocket 4's, 7s, qq-AA, AQ, AK, KQ. (If it weren't for results - I wouldn't even give villain credit for AK, but I guess I have to...). I always get paranoid when I get two smooth calls on a non-drawy board.

Re: Hand from 40k GTD
pf: obv
flop: good turn: decent value bet, but you could probably just shove here. river: check/call sounds better. |
