Default TT facing a c/r from a TAG

Party 100NL 6m

Villain and I have been at the table for a while and both of us have been playing fairly ABC. Nothing out of the ordinary. I have probably been raising pf a little less then I normally do b/c of poor cards and focus on other tables. Villain has stats of 23/12/3/230.

5 handed, standard stacks. Hero has TT.

CO limps, Hero (btn) bets 5, Villain (BB) calls. Flop comes 542r. Villain checks, I bet 9, Villain raises to 24...now what?

I'm discounting AA-QQ, I think this guy would reraise those preflop most of the time here. So basically it's a set or an overpair 66-JJ IMO, and you're ahead of this range. If you push now, though, I doubt a worse hand calls. If you just call in position, he may fire again on the turn while behind, so I think calling with the intention of getting all-in on the turn is a good play here.

stacks please.

it's tough because he's tight preflop. i'd probaby call because of his aggressive nature. and i don't want him to think he can run over me.

Any reasonable bet on the turn pot commits you IMO.
