PokerStars wont run
Hey all, I upgraded to 2 monitors and an emachine, the internet works fine on it, PokerStars will not connect tho. This is due to Windows Vista blocking everything, I tried taking off the securities but cant seem to get it to work. Someone who knows Vista please help.

Re: PokerStars wont run
Run Stars as administrator. What sort of firewall do you have?

Re: PokerStars wont run
Without seeing what's going on it sounds like your firewall is blocking access to PokerStars. In the start menu click on Control Panel. When I open mine one of the options in the main window is Security, under that is a link to Allow a Program through Windows Firewall. Click on that and then on the Add a Program button. Scroll down to PokerStars and select it. See if that helps.

Re: PokerStars wont run
yah download Zonealarm first - then turn off the windows firewall -I'd run a Virus Scan first tho - make shure you dont have a Trojan thats taken over your Internet

Re: PokerStars wont run
Friends dont let friends purchase eMachines.
You try just outright disabling the Windows Firewall and see if it works before going the ZA route? |
