Default Royal Carribean - Freedom of the Seas Poker?

I'll be going on this cruise in two weeks. The Royal Carribean web-site states they have poker, but I'm looking for a little more detail.

Has anyone played on this ship or other RC ships?

i did, they had 5/10 limit only and it sucked balls. a lot of balls. like both balls in 1 mouth at the same time.

I went on "voyager of the seas" last christmas for a week long carribean cruise. voyager is identical to freedom I belive.

the only poker available was three card poker and carribean stud in the casino.

your trip may be different though, i don't know

WTF are you talking about? I was on that ship a week later and they had 10/20. It was the same same cruise line as the OP, so I think he has a good shot.

10% to $15. Also, we played at a converted blackjack table. Only 7 seats so for everyone who wanted 6 max B&M games this is your shot.

Explorer of the Seas had two 5/10 tables when I went back in October. They were converted blackjack tables, so it was consistently 6 or 7 handed.

Softest game in the history of the world....enjoy your free trip!

Another RC poker thread...

I went on a RC cruise from Baltimore to Mexico. It was the Grandeur of the Seas. They ran 5/10 limit holdem (yes at the 7 person table) after a certain time of night. Not sure why it didnt run all the time. Definitely very beatable even with the sick rake because no one knew how to play and many people had lots of $$$ to burn. I have never played that high in my life.

They also ran a really bad NL Shoot out tourney with $75 buy-in. Total crap shoot since they started you off with so few chips and blinds went up so fast. I played two hands, second all in. You started with like 1000 in chips, they gave you a 500 and 5*100 chips. The blinds started off at like 50/100. It was nuts.

Also there was so much interest in NL (not limit though)that they were spreading a 2/5NL game on some nights by the end instead of the 5/10 limit game. They were I think taking like 10% up to $20 or something in rake.
