Sounds mosquito-ey. Bring bug spray and those burning coil things.

Starbucks doubleshots are great for camping.

Try to put beer in a separate cooler with normal ice and get a solid block of ice for your food cooler. Cooler water is the bane of my existence. Nothing worse than a package of ham full of nasty water.

Bring lots of blankets - they add extra padding and are nice when it gets cold around the fire at night.

Trash bags, paper towels and TP are a must.

The more flashlights and headlamps the better. Make sure you have enough batteries.

That's about it. Car camping is pretty easy.

Sounds like you're driving, not hiking in. So:

-Headlamp
-Rainfly (if rain's an issue, waterproof spray is gonna be useless)
-Trash bag
-Couple bottles of wine (much better than beer for camping imo)
-Knife
-Backpack
-Game (deck of cards, bocce ball, etc)
-Insect repellant
-Toilet paper

That's all I can think of right now that you didn't list. My general words of advice would be, the less you try to make camping "comfortable" or modernize it or whatever, the more fun and satisfying it will be. Don't bring an ipod, don't bring a zillion pairs of clothes, etc. Remember the idea is to get away from modern living and luxury and you'll have a great time.

Cast iron pan - you can cook anything in it.

Also, stay the hell away from any Banjo playing retarded kids.

3. cars are real

Sauble Beach is NOT Northern Ontario! Sudbury is Northern Ontario. Sauble Beach is on the Bruce Peninsula which along with Muskoka is generally referred to in Toronto as "cottage country".

It's very, very nice though I haven't been there in >15 years. It should be warm enough that you won't have too many problems with bugs, however, bug spray and coils are always a good idea camping.

This thread has pretty much covered everything else.

No need for baby wipes. If you drink enough liquor, since alcohol kills germs, no need. The weed is a must. Toilet paper, paper plates and plastic silverware. Gotta have bug spray. Sounds like you will be by water so you must have the bug spray. In the mountains, late in summer the bug spray is not such a big deal, but on the coast it is a must have.
