Default a newbie question about cash outs and the usa banks deal.

Just want to ask what may appear like a foolish question. LOets say I decide I want to cash out at a site. Number one do I have to cash out my whole bank roll? Number two, if I choose to have a check sent to me, is a us bank allowed to cash it?

The way I understand the law is that us banks are suppose to have NO PART in the process. Does that mean if I show up with a paper check can they refuse to cash it? Sorry I have just started playing in the last few months and have not delt with a cashout before.

you can cash out any amount (all, half, $1, etc). most sites are issuing checks from 3rd party banks (i.e. canada) and have no ties to gambling sites, so your bank will be clueless when you bring them the check...

FWIW, if you cash out your entire bankroll make sure you never want to play again, cuz it's impossible to get any money in to these sites right now

That's not true. There are still plenty of ways to get your money into a site. It just takes a little more work than it did a week ago. There have been plenty of posts from people, myself included, that they have still been able to make deposits.

Currently, PokerStars with epassporte (funded by my debit card). Also using my epassporte as a visa card to deposit at goldenriviera (yes, I know prima sucks, but this is bonus whoring). I have real a lot of other posts that people are having success depositing at Full Tilt, Ulitmatebet, and bodog. Like I said, it can be done. It just takes more work than it used to. Best of luck and keep trying.

Have you tried Nucharge? I just used it on BoDog and it worked like a charm. You're buying prepaid phone cards and hten depositing at BoDog. I used a credit card at Nucharge. Check out Bodog's deposit options, it might be new.

Well, I used nucharge on bodog for a deposit a few days ago and it worked like a charm (as I reported in another post), took less than 5 minutes. I totally refuse to the epassporte, piece of garbage.
