More of a question is why would you just call with a hand that's probably beating BTN's range? I think I 3-bet this to 3.50 pre, but since you didn't...

I don't think I donk here ever. It depends on the villain, but most 15/11s are c-betting a LOT, especially with his AF. I'd try to c/c and donk the turn, it's a lot fishier than bet/bet and it might induce a raise on the turn from a hand like JJ or TT cause he think's you're FOS.

When he minraises, you're only beat by 44, A9, AK. You pretty much have the effective nuts against a BTN raiser, and I would either 3-bet there, or call and shove river.

I try trapping here big time.. c/c flop.. check turn - if he bets call, if he checks go for a c/r on the river.. If he checks behind again on river I would be surprised and you probably couldn't get much more value playing any other way.

But that's just my preference.. I think there are many good lines here like the one thac suggested, but I don't think leading the flop is one of them.

3 bet is crucial, I hate playing AQs out of position even as the pfr in a raised pot, let alone the caller.

Yah. And other thing to consider: People check flops with AA (and other monsters like FH) after 3betting pf all the time trying to CRAI. It's so obvious.

I meant as played c/c the flop. Obv cbet if you 3 bet preflop.
