I guess you have to be young, immature and just have not experienced the things a typical adult does to feel sorry for someone who has so much so early in life and yet can't bring himself to be content.

I know you think it's admirable for someone to always want more out of life, but what a lot of misguided folks such as yourselves see as ambition is often just unchecked materialism, greed and a total lack of humility and perspective.

You could have done without the first sentence, but the rest of your post is fairly accurate. BT is just human though, and most of us would get just as carried away as he did.

c'mon, this isn't 3 million dollars from his overall bankroll, its money he blew from the week before. Like I say, any money he loses he classifies it as a downswing, when you guys are basically saying he lost a huge chunk of his roll. Everyone acting like a monkey on a vigilante train are acting like he lost this from his original roll, like he didnt just tilt off what he made- thats break even.

In reading through this thread I’ve noticed a lot of people rubbing this downsizing in a lot of other poster’s faces by saying that BT’s time has come, he’s a flash in the pan and all those that hailed him as perma king were foolish. The funny thing is that by prematurely announcing his downfall you’re basically making the same claim only on the opposite end. You are sensationalizing this downsizing much the same as many have done when saying BT is the second coming. He is human, [censored] happens, he may go bust, he many not. We really can’t say one way or another at this point.

indeed. while i understand brian wants to be the best and beat the 2nd best, i have never understood his compulsion to always play anyone, at any game, even when he's not on top of his game or running well. when you combine this with the fact that he knows he tilts, it just blows my mind. play with table selection for like a [censored] week and get your game straight.
