Default $22 turbo - AJs with 9BB

TEXAS_HOLDEM TURBO $20+$2 BLINDS 75/150

Seat 1: Krbblx ($1,670 in chips)
Seat 2: alvo11 ($2,665 in chips)
Seat 4: HERO ($1,350 in chips)
Seat 5: The coolXmen ($460 in chips)
Seat 6: sick-my-duck ($1,295 in chips)
Seat 7: LAIHA ($2,635 in chips)
Seat 8: SB ($1,905 in chips)
Seat 9: BB ($3,020 in chips)

PRE-FLOP
2 folds, HERO ??

I'd usually fold here, but blinds increase to 150/300 next hand. Do I take my chances here, or wait and try some steals?

There have been some lengthy discussions about this situation in the past.

My reasoned opinion is that the blind increase should have a very minor effect on your current decision, because you will still have a reasonable stack if you just fold eg you will still have FE even if you fold through the blinds.

So it comes down to the current risk/reward, and if your read is that shoving is immediately -$EV, then just fold it.

I would normally push this even if the blinds weren't going up next hand.

I initially disagreed with you but then after consideration I like this. that said in game I probably just shove a high % pf the time.
