I fold the flop. It's not just the BB. UTG seems rockish so what can he be calling this flop with?

Limping gives you a decent chance of three opponents if the SB completes and there is no reason why CO or the button won't limp in also. Your opponent seems to be tight, so raising is less attractive than it might be agaist someone who will limp in with any ace regardless of kicker. Against a tight opponent the chances are that you are either behind already to something like 99, 1010 or more likely will be facing two overcards, in which case you are little better than even money to win the hand. There is some discussion of this kind of hand on page 66 of SSHE. I agree that it is close in this particular hand though, and I doubt whether it will make a significant difference in the long run whether you raise or limp.

What type of hands are going to bet this flop into a preflop raiser? I might raise if it were heads up with the blind but overcalling is a poor play.

:G:

Preflop is fine.

Flop:
You're either way ahead or way behind here. I don't call here and I probably fold especially since the pot is small. I this were HU and you think BB is bluffing you should raise, but really with no reads on him and in this small of a pot with a caller in front I elect to fold.

I still fold the turn the pot is small and you're probably not good here. UTG has a hand here a lot.

[ QUOTE ]

You're always slightly ahead or way behind here when UTG+2 overcalls
