Yes the UK. Any form of gambling winnings are non taxable in the uk, when poker started to become a significant amount of my income, i did quite a bit of research into this and there is landmark case in British law where a pro sports gambler won a case based on whether he should pay tax or not. Poker comes under this umbrella.

I love the fact that I have to make 8 phone calls to get people to do anything even close to on time.

Actually, it won't be close to on time. My car was supposed to be fixed yesterday. And I still can't get a hold of anyone today.

In all fairness, I almost lol'ed when the guy said 2 days, I assumed it would take at least 4. But still. Why would it have been hard to just say "We might finish it this week, but probably not" when I took it in Tuesday? Why you gotta say "it'll be done tomorrow". Why?

12 p.m. - Lunch, yay
1 p.m. - Call about my car.
2 p.m. - Call oil company to see about setting up oil rig in my back yard.
3 p.m. - Call about my car.
