Default The other howard stern.

original wrote this in the other howard stern thread. but i thought i'd make this its own thread since its something i have always wondered about.

apparently people actually like howard stern. i am guessing these people are:

14 year old boys (because he is racy)
~40 year old men who are experiencing the beginnings of a midlife crisis (because he is seen by them as cutting edge and hip, and racy too)

i have seen a fair number of his shows on E! back in the day, and the naked girl stuff aside, its totally inane. its like regis and kelly or the view for 14 year old boys.

how wrong am i (regarding both demographics and the quality of the show)? what am i missing?

sorry should have worded that "dont have a sense of humor"

its one thing to tire of him afer x amount of years, but people who dont think he was ever funny probably have awful senses of humor.

I'm 24, i have Sirius. I try to listen every day. I used to be able to get him at work, but I can't anymore. If I could, I'd definitely favor him over anyone on regular radio. God, Rover, who they play on the channel that used to carry Howard on regular radio is so bad it isn't funny.

ahh here we go the 4 or 5 o+a fans will come support. Dude who cares there going to be on the radio's anyway soon. With no ratings to worry about, no one will care

I've listen to Howard since i was 15 with a FM walkman in class.I purchased a Sat. radio to keep hearing it. If you enjoy the crude nature that is OOT sometimes how can one not like Stern <or even Dopie and Ant-nee>
