Default My CC company declines ePassporte verification charge

I was able to fund my ePassporte account with one of my cards, but when trying for the elusive select membership by adding another card (Chase) I received the message that my bank had declined the transaction.

Anyone else had problems with Chase cards or others?

Call Chase. The security departments of some cc issuing banks will deny the charge at first, or put it on hold, since the charge is being issued to a foreign bank. You should be able to verbally authorize them to allow that charge.

PS: Just don't mention why you want that epassporte account, i.e. for poker/gambling. Say you are doing it to put another layer in between an online retail site like amazon and your credit card isssued by them, in order to better protect the security of same, which is actually a valid reason in itself to have that epassporte account, i.e. for their virtual visa.

Thats where my head was at. Back in the day when I played online I funded through a CC straight to the site. Things were fine for a year or so then I started getting the charges denied followed up by a call from Security who sounded surprised that I had knowingly used my card for this and went into some mini rant Anywho its obvious that many CC companies don't want to dirty their hands with online gambling, was just hoping that they weren't turning the stink eye on ePassporte. Thanks again BT.

Also, if you call epassporte about this, they can send you a form that you can fill in, then you send in a photocopy of the card, a bill for the card and a goverment id, and they can verify it without ever having to send the charge.
