I think that would require more thinking...

Well a couple of things.
First I don't know if i want to do this, thats why i'm posting it, finding out if anybody has every heard of it before yadda yadda yadda... Second, I might want to do this, If it generates a steady profit will little expense from me except for time than it can't be the worst thing in the world...why do you think that people play 20 tables of limit poker? or 25 Sng's...can't be the most fun in the world...And yes.. the quote "you shouldn't pass up +ev spots" well i would argue that if this allows me to double the number of tables that i can play at..than that would be more +ev...highly doubtful but still something to consider. Also it might allow me to watch some Seinfeld at the same time, which may intern increase the length of my sessions + keep me more relaxed which also would translate into better play...who knows...I'm just curious

[/ QUOTE ]

I can see your reasons for wanting to do this. It just depends what your goals are.

Well i guess my goal is just to make some money. A solid amount of cash, but i'm a student so i have pretty low expectations.

Alright cause 2+2 is all about free information i'll just list out what i've been doing so far.(obv. very simple math so you could do it yourself)

Assuming I play 12 tables at 50nl with 9 people always sitting in and avg. 70 hands per hour.

840 hands/per/hr
52.5 pocket pairs/per/hr
6.56 sets per hour

cost of playing at 50nl
1hr = 93 rounds = $0.75 per round = $63.75 per hour
52.5 pocket pairs = avg flop cost $2 = $105
So average cost per hour is $168.75

So i would need to earn 4 buy-in's per hour to turn a 31.75 profit. Obv must account for rake but i would be involved in some rake back thang...

So 4 buy-ins sounds pretty rediculous.

Thing is though that of my 52.5 pocket pairs 12 of those on average will be AA-KK or QQ. So that would possible take off a good percentage of the $168.75 which i would need to earn. (I hope this doesn't turn out to be wildly lucrative and i just gave it all away for free - that would suck)

So how best do i play my Large pocket pairs. I guess i should be aiming, on average to make $6 from each one so i would only need to clear $100 with stacking people on sets.

Sort of confusing yes. But feed back would be swell.

I checked my stats, I make most of my money from two pair - not sure how much of it comes from the blinds and are disguised.

OP, your calculations are not even close to reality. Sorry.

This is possible and people do it. Roo21t plays somthing similar to this and probly makes 1ptbb/100 at 25NL playing god knows how many hands a month (100k+ I'd expect as he plays constantly) Your not going to make 30$ and hour at 50NL doing this though.. I would guess more along the lines of 6-10$ and hour... tops.
