All players are like 40/15/2 and opener is even more aggressive preflop.

I think I like a call here. I mean SB cold called 3 which means he overvalues everything so KJ, K5 are 1/20 possible. This is actually awful. The pot is 21-1. Are you trying to give yourself an ulcer?

I hate the river raise. This is a textbook time to go for overcalls.

No scratch that. I DON'T hate the river raise. You ARE very likely ahead here. I can't say which is best but going for overcalls does have value as does raising.

I know if I called I'd be shown teh nuts, and then I'd get an ulcer for being a big pot calling donkey. I don't know about the river raise.

I don't think CO ever has AK/99 but 55 is in his range. I think I pulled ahead of A9/A5 enough to want to go another bet against him, but SB is a factor. The ~sure bet against CO could be more important with only one possible overcaller and the possibilty that he calls two more with an ace anyway.

But then if he check raises the river when CO bets and I call, I can save a bet and fold there too. But I wouldn't be nearly as confident in folding there as I was folding after I raised. So I would probably call that c/r and lose two bets anyway.

I think your joking but I'll play along. I won't be able to respond as I'm going out but you did nearly fold a flush where I think your two opponents were drawing dead. Doesn't that tell you anything? Is KJ not a possibility...5% of the time?

man that would be a bad J9

Id end up going for the overcall becuz I can picture a CO cold calling AK or 99 alot more than A9 or A5 offsuit so I dont even feel good about raising CO, but u were at the table and know the players so...

That's about what I think too. For someone who hates raise/folding this hand is about the opposite of an ideal exception.

I also don't see this as a raise/fold. I wouldn't fold to a 3-bet from the original bettor. I didn't think I'd get 3-bet by SB often at all, so I didn't even plan for that.
