The good thing about rundowns like 8765 is that if you flop two pair, you always have a straight or straight draw to go with it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not quite always, but that's being quite anal on my part.

[/ QUOTE ]

When is this not the case?

Mike, yeah it is important to try not to be too predictable in PLO... I am learning this of late... and so nothing is auto. Good Luck!

[/ QUOTE ]

there are two ways to avoid predictability. one is to play the same hand a lot of different ways. two is to play a lot of different hands the same way.

I suppose you are saying that whenever you flop two of the cards in your hand you have a straight or straight draw, but not in the case when you have a two pair hand that uses a board pairing, like AA8 for instance .

No offense but the title sounds very "Help me program my bot?"-ish.
Why would you want to auto do anything in a thinking game?

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL that someone thinks a PLO bot is currently possible.

1) Fold better hands to winning players (game select)
2) if odds good enough against current nuts call or raise randomly
3) if you have the nuts, bet/raise the pot
4) rakeback

Work out the smash, link it into pokertracker & hud, and you've got a winning bot for many online games.

Position is very important, deep stacked its always an error to raise the SB.

I like raising to thin the field,
so I raise bad hands not good ones.
For example I wouldnt raise A678 with a suited A because I dont want people to fold KQJ high flush draws preflop,
but I raise 5678 to get higher flush draws and wraps to fold.
Low wraps are very playable short handed, but death with lots of limpers.

It gives away your hand if you have AA,
you have to fold the reraise if not.

I am assuming a few limpers, obviously if its folded to you its an autoraise with anything.
