without disclosing any of the exact content I can tell you this has and continues to be hottly debated in the mod forum and both sides have seemingly drawn lines the sand by threatening to leave if you are either made mod or for the other side if you are not made mod. I don't think I'm overstating things by saying it's virtually riping the mod forum apart and I think in a lot of ways has spilled over into many of the conflicts outside the mod forum.

At this point in time I have no idea how it will turn but I fear I have already said too much.

I haven't come across you before, and I thought the posts about "you" in the mods' forum were jokes, as the ones for you were immediately shouted down by the ones against you, and vice versa.

Presumably you have gained your post-count in POG. If you start posting in the strategy forums you are bound to say something that others will agree with, sooner or later, (hint: tell the OP to raise), and you'll be a mod within a few years.

KKF and I don't like each other a whole lot, but I think he would be an excellent mod, especially if other mods are truly threatening to quit if he is made one. They need to be made to put up or shut up, or just shown to be hypocritical liars like Alec Baldwin with his unfulfilled threat of leaving the US if Bush II became prez.

As El D noted, KKF is a longtime strat poster and the HSNL forum has 2 mods who each like to take trips and stuff so there is usually only one of them available at any time to mod that forum. So adding him there would be a help to the others.

Did he say he would leave the U.S. permanently?
Because if not then he just has to leave the U.S. for a little bit after W. was elected. And I doubt that Alec has had zero international travel in the past 5+ years.

Alec Baldwin has had times where he is WAY cool.

Of all the 'mostly non-comedians' to appear on Saturday Night Live, he and Christopher Walken are easily the funniest.

He's also really fun to watch in Glengary Glen Ross.

I pretty much despise all of his brothers. Not exactly sure why however.
