KKF, why the huge raise?

[/ QUOTE ]

SB was calling everything preflop, and I had UTG at 15 vpip, so I put him on a drawing hand (at the time i didnt realize he was so tight UTG, I just checked that afterwards). I just wanted to charge them to see the flop, and I think its easier to play postflop if you make the larger raise preflop.

I normally play KK as if it was AA. Perhaps I need to make adjustements in this game.

How can you be so sure when it's only over 60 hands? What's his overall vpip?

I think you will see QQ and JJ here (and sometimes 10 10) more often overall than AA or a nine.

Although I don't play much full ring I'm still pretty confident on my read here.

I dunno, i think 60 hands UTG is a decent amount of data. I dont think it's 60 overall hands. Given that it's a pretty easy fold I guess, no way he raises TT-QQ there

i strongly disagree on that one. if the guy is bad enough to believe those hands beat more than a bluff then the guy will probably not be playing so tight utg as well. also, if i'm utg i might do that with aces, but never would do that with qq or worse unless the guy was going crazy.
