The preflop call looks fine to me, given your position and villain being so easily readable. But I think a raise on the flop would be better here.

What if villain bets again on turn? Do we fold or raise? If we decide to raise on the turn it is going to cost us a lot more than a raise on flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

If villain bets again on the turn, I'm gone because he most likely is milking with a set of aces or a weakly played AK.

Preflop no, because you're so easily dominated.
Postflop yes, because he'll fold most PPs.

Based on OP read why would you fold PF??? We will know exactly where we stand based on his bet size and can get away cheaply should we be dominated...Also based on OP read it sound like the villain is on the weak side and give up easily should his PP miss..

This was my thought as well. I'm not playing this hand for TPGK value at all. I'm making a small investment with position against an opponent who has made his hand transparent given his preflop action. Often this will be a fold post flop for me, but when I hit I'm almost guaranteed to stack villain.

In this case, villain's line screamed scared KK to me, and I took my shot at playing "AQs".

For those looking to fold this preflop, what hands are you playing in position against a transparent opponent?

You have position and he shows weak on the flop bet and the turn check. You are taking a risk, I think he will call you down with Axo and any pair even the 4.

Fold preflop. I'm looking to play a hand that can actually win a big pot to a rr, not 1 that I need to bluff/float to win

postflop looks fine...turn could be a bit more though. He sure looks like he has KK/QQ though

Fold pre, as your hand is waaay behind a straightforward players range, and in a way that means 2-pair hands are often no good.

Bet more on the turn, push any river.
