Live game problems...
Hey Guys...
thanks to 2+2 my online game is starting to become better (tentatively only 3000 hand sample) However when I play live I get shaky when I make a big play... or have a good hand... what is the best way to deal with this? I don't have the same reaction to big hands online... Is it because I am trying to supress my reaction wheras online I can be free? Is it a case of playing more live games to desensitise myself? Any suggestions would be great. |

Re: Live game problems...
you just need to play more and get used to being in the presence of your opposition

Re: Live game problems...
Well, it depends on a couple of factors. Do you have a poker bankroll? If not, then it will be harder to make the rught move if it means go home or go to the ATM.
Second, if you dont have alot of exp playing live, then making the right play will be harder. Also, that big raise you make is not seen as often, and you are playing face to face so its harder to be aggressive for some people. |

Re: Live game problems...
I believe the physical symptom you mention is a reaction to higher stress hormones circulating when you hit a good hand. It's common among gamblers. You probably have exactly the same reaction online but just don't notice it because you're not as focussed on your table image.
