Default WTO regulations and compensation??

with the negotiating going back and forth between the EU and the US and Antigua and the US, does anyone think that part of the negotiations in exchange for the compensation is that the "affected countries" will agree to voluntarily pull out of the US market????

It very well could be that these countries DO NOT have the control over some of these sites that I am giving them credit for, BUT, for example, Antigua licenses these companies, and that could be part of the regulations that these companies must follow if they wish to be recognized and licensed by that particular government.....

You have a better chance of getting Slave Reparations Payments from the US than of that scenario coming to pass.

For any one who really understands what Carl was saying in his oft quote line; "War is merely a continuation of politics." As well as his theories on; critical analysis, the nature of the balance-of-power mechanism, the relationship between political objectives and military objectives in war, and the asymmetrical relationship between attack and defense, just to name a few biggies will understand this multi-dimensional battle better.

Poker is just a pawn on this trade warfare chessboard, well perhaps a rook, or something inbetween, it certainly isn't a queen.

A lot of localities are not signatory to the WTO. A lot simply don't care. If Stars needed a home, Im sure 10-15 locales would step up. Its an EASY to provide service that just needs a home and a payment processor.
Two other considerations. 1) Antigua is maintaining the US has to open its market for cross-border gaming. They are seeking to force them to stop prosecuting. At no point in these negotiations has the US established its illegal for a place to run a gaming site that takes US customers in an international court. Antigua can wake up tomorrow and say ok USA you win, give us 1bn and we go away from the WTO. Then, the next day, they can tell WSEX we think you're legal and legit, go about your business. The USA can't put Erroll Cort in jail for letting them, nor force the Antiguans to extradite, because running a sportsbook there isn't a crime.
So they can take the $$ and go about business as usual.

2) Every other country out there can do the same.
