Just saw this under the events tab... Any speculation for entry requirements?

[ QUOTE ]
The "$2.5M Freeroll" tab in the lobby is where we will be holding events as part of a very big (well, $2,500,000, obviously) promotion. We can't tell you all about it quite yet, but details will be announced in the next two weeks. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: Stars $2.5 million freeroll
I'm guessing this will be similar to the Paradise or UB $1-million dollar freerolls where you have to qualify for it.
You don't just get to sign-up for the $2.5-mil Stars freeroll and play in that one would be my guess (well, maybe a direct buy-in of 30k FPP's or something). In the Paradise Million-dollar freeroll you have to earn 100 paradise points to get another entry into their qualifier. In the qualifier there might be 1500 players competing. And the top 9 advance to the 'big one' (July 22). Something like that anyway. There are almost 6k players in the Paradise freeroll. So roughly $200 value per entry. Roughly 1-in-100 chance in the pre-qualifier thingees. So it's about $2 value every time you enter one of those to try to qualify for the big one. So they really aren't that huge a value. $2 for free just isn't that big a deal. But they can still be fun. |

Re: Stars $2.5 million freeroll
It likely will target new players, the same as Paradise.

Re: Stars $2.5 million freeroll
"O/U on the all-inners fist hand?"
lol, no kidding. How bout the O/U on how much of the field is gone by first break? If 5k join, I give the over being 3500, and under being less than half. If 10k join, I give the over being 6200, and under being less than half. |
