Default FullTiltPoker review (advertising works)

I was watching some poker telecast on ESPN while filling out the seating chart for my upcoming wedding when a FullTiltPoker ad caught my eye. I watched it through the end and noticed the comment, "Now available for Mac."

I've been playing on Pokerroom since January and have not had any problems, but the chance to collect a bonus somewhere else certainly interested me, so I cashed out of Pokerroom and deposited at FullTilt. The mac platform is easy to use and quick even on my five-year-old Powerbook.

I'm a low stakes player and found the games even softer at FTP than at Pokerroom. I don't like that I can't make player notes, but I do like the inline statistics.

The tournament structure is OK. The blinds go up with greater frequency than at PR, but the rate of increase is less, which helps make it a good game even after the bubble bursts (not just all-in preflop every time like at PR).

An earlier post suggested that FullTilt gives new players better cards. That's not entirely true because through my first 169 hands I did not receive TT, JJ, QQ, KK, AA, or AK once, and AA, KK, AK should happen at least 1/50.

I did well anyway and look forward to continuing to play there.

FYI, you can take notes. Right-click on the person you want to take notes on.

ctrl + click will bring up the notes in the mac version. It works fine on my powerbook.

Don't believe that antidotal BS. I've yet to see anyone give proof to these type of conspiracy theory claims and there are plenty of solid reasons why a site wouldn't do this.

But it was, according to the OP in the thread in question, a friend who said a reliable source at the local casino that claimed FT where under investigation by the US governement.
Do you really need more proof than that?
